I was playing my Dreamcast the other day while playing Sega GT, and the stage 3 racing brake upgrade for cars are "carbon fiber rotors and pads"

Is it possible to use cf rotors? And are race cars using it right now or is this BS?

Yes, carbon fiber rotors and pads are widely used by Formula 1 cars. That's how those cars go from 180 to 40 mph at less than a football field length. The Enzo Ferrari and the Ferrari 360 Modena Stradale can also be had w/ 15" CF rotors at about $12K just for the brakes.
