perrin spring

Well first of all, i want to say hi to everyone since i'm new in this forum.
I just got my 2004 wrx and the first thing i want to do is to lower it. I'll probably go for either the prodrive spring or the perrin spring but i'm not sure which of those spring is the best for my car. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the perrin spring or the prodrive one. Any answer will be appreciate it.

perrin springs are great, i bought mine from vividracing. They are great, good for turns, nice aggressive look give about a 1.9 in front and a 1.5 in back

Yeah the perrin springs will lower my suby more than the prodrive one.. but i think the perrin springs are just for look and prodrive is more into performace. Anyway i'm not quite sure on buying the perrin springs becuase if i do, i need to replace my rear upper strut mount in order to fit the springs.
ok, thanks for the info troyboy24

either way you'll have to change the rear strut tops if you're using 2002-03 springs. the 04 prodrives are coming out first quarter 2004, don't think there's any word on the perrin ones. eibach and tanabe ahve 04's out but they don't drop the front as much.

no, perrin will not release that information, if you call them up and ask them all they tell you is they are about 10% stiffer than stock while cruising and up to 50% stiffer under hard turning

I agree. I'm running Perrin springs w/ AGXs and they work real well together. The ride is definitely stiffer than stock, but it helps around the corners and on/off ramps .

The Perrin springs are a progressive spring rate, so as the company said, they start off soft, and get stiffer under harder cornering loads. I've talked to a couple folks that had them and found them too soft for most performance-oriented driving.
