New rotors and pads needed
So I got a brake inspection today and after about 2 hours, they finally found that the right rear brake pad is about 95% worn. Left side is also struggling and also, my left rear wheel bearing is making a horrible screeching noise so that needs to be replaced.
I'm gonna upgrade the rear brake rotors and pads, and was just wondering what you guys would recommend/suggest. I'm looking to get cross drilled rotors in the back to match my fronts. Also, anyone here that can fix the left rear wheel bearing for a good price? They wanted to charge me like $400 for parts and labor and that's a bit too pricey.
Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Yeah it did. Crazy right?
So here is the actual quote for both problems:
Brake Pad; Replace Rear pads and Rotors:
Labor - $147
Rear Brake Pads (right side only) - $83.85
Rear Brake Rotors (both) - $136.44
Total - $367.29
Wheel Bearing Replace; Rear suspension, both sides:
Labor - $231
Wheel Bearing $143.05
Inner Seal $15.52
Outer Seal $23.82
Total - $413.39
Getting both done at once would total $780.68, plus tax, would make a grand total of $816.49.
Is replacing the wheel bearing something that should be done immediately or should I worry about the brakes more, given the right rear has less that 5% life left?
Also, I'm looking to get slotted or cross drilled rotors for the rear to match the fronts. Good idea or bad?

That's one ****ed up quote; bearing lists for~ $80, and who changes just one side when doing brakes.
I'd never take my car to place like that.

Mmm I think the wheel bearing job is still a bit expensive, but I'm not sure. Is it a tough DIY? If it is, I'd just buy the wheel bearing and have them install it since Paul is telling me they go for $80 and I'm getting charged $130+. And I still need to pick up my brake setup. But I will definitely hit you up once I get the pads and rotors together.
wheel bearings on a subaru is a tough diy, I just did a rear bearing and it took 4 hours with me using my welder to get the outer race off the hub. Not as bad if you take the knuckle to a shop and have them do the presswork, but then there's stubborn races like mine to rack up the 100/hr labor rate. I'd say you should take it to a shop, but keep in mind that list price for the bearing is not shop price since they have to make money on the job; the going markup is 30% most places.

Alright, so in terms of labor, it is a good deal? I'd just have to buy the bearings and let them do labor? Expensive, but I'm assuming it's a good deal since DIY is out of the question for me.

You insult a shop bringing your own parts; have you brought your food to a restaurant and asked the chef to cook it up?

So I just got my rear rotors in today and my bearings. My mom has a friend that can do the wheel bearing replacement for about $60 which is great compared to what I was gonna be charged at a shop. Anthony offered to help with installing the rotors and pads, so that saved me about $80 even though I bought better aftermarket rotors and pads. Also, I'm taking the uppipe and Cobb SRI off his hands, and even paying for that I'm gonna save about $100-200! It's good to know people. And big thanks to Anthony for offering to help. Will update this once all the work is done.
