in need of NEW struts

My 05 wrx has just gotten in a minor accident, and requires a new strut and strut mount on the right side. From the dealership = $180 (strut) + $70 (mount). its way expensive, any suggestions on where to get any performance struts/mounts for higher performance or at least at a better price?

also, do i need to replace both sides if its just the right side thats having issues?

thanks.

You can order the oem part from www.subarugenuineparts.com for cheaper...

Also, some used STi takeoffs might be a good deal and good upgrade.

If its just one strut, you may want to look for a used one, that would be pretty cheap.

If you're looking to upgrade, I would think that you should do all 4. Kyb-Agx is a good upgrade and adjustable.

The Kyb-Gr2 is a decent replacement/minor upgrade, appox 15% stiffer than stock. For a sedan, you can get them really cheap - $279 shipped

I replaced the stock suspension on my wagon at ~ 50K miles with the gr2 strits and prodrive springs. Much better than stock and less than $600 shipped to my door Good luck!
