Question Sway bar 21mm and 22mm?

I found one problrm is what is the different between sway bar 21mm and 22mm front?
However,
after I installed the front Cusco strut bar, I didn't feel much different on cornering.... does anyone feels the same way?

If you increase the front sway bar on your car it'll understeer a lot more. Considering I came from the honda road racing scene most of us just leave the front sway bar along, and run a massive rear sway. In order to get the car to rotate. I'm pretty sure the same thing applies to any car reguardless if they're awd/rwd/ff.

I just recently got my hands on an '02 wagon with a whiteline 22mm rear sway bar. The rear end of the car likes to come out on long sweeper turns that is if i'm at wot.

Errr, a front sway bar is actually very beneficial to an impreza, which has a horrible camber curve. You will probably not "feel" a lot from the strut bar, however.

A big front sway will give you a lot more grip in the front due to less camber loss. You can then tune in more "rotation" by adding a stiffer rear bar.

I have Cusco 22mm's front and rear. I actually wish I got the Whiteline 24-26 in the front instead. =/

What about 27 mm front and 24 mm rear?

I've heard people complain about the camber curve. Can you elaborate on it?

Is the suspension geometry of the Impreza front suspension such that as it compresses the camber tends to go positive or something? (Thus, you want a stiff FSB to reduce compression in turns)

You got it right... as the suspension compresses, the camber actually goes positive, so any static camber that you dialed in is pretty much nullified.

There are some really good technical discussions on nasioc that describe this stuff a lot better than I do... but basically, yes at the limit you are probably understeering bit more due to more front loading, but the benefit of camber retention more than makes up for it in added grip.

If your car were a WoW character it would go like this after adding the front sway:

Handling --> -1 for more front end loading, +3 or +4 for better camber retention, for a net positive gain in handling.

So... 22mm or 24mm FSB for a daily driven + weekend touge (drive, not drift) + noncompetitive autox + rare track days?

(also planning on an 20/22/24 adj RSB)

Stock springs.

BTW, do you know which search terms or links of those tech discussions about the suspension geometry of the impreza?

I have a 22mm in the front now, and feel that it is good for the street, however, after one trackday I quickly realized it is not nearly big enough to my liking...

Just search for "sway bar" and similar terms on nasioc in the motorsport and suspension forums. A bunch of the national-level drivers give great detail on their setups.
