my experience with this suspension setup
I'm currently running:
GAB coilovers
GAB rear sway bar w/ heavy duty endlinks
Cusco front and rear strut bars
rear cross bar
bridgestone potenza re750's
STI rear strut top mounts (being installed this sat.)
My experience without cusco front and rear strut bars and potenzas:
Horrible understeer....especially during heavy acceleration. The car, although stiff was still not as nimble and agile as i had hoped. Still the handling was better than stock!
Experience with all of the above mentioned mods:
OMG!!! i can't explain how F-ing good the car handles now!!!! Wherever you turn the wheel it goes with no fuss or delay. If anything there is more oversteer although i'd have to say that the car is very neutral now. Hey oversteer is better than understeer...that stuff is scary when you're going to fast and can't break in time!!! The car seems well planted to the ground now and the strut bars really stiffen up the chassis that much more!! Also steering response is greatly improved with the front strut bar!
This is just a testimonial of sorts for those that are interested in any suspension upgrades.

Sounds like a nice fine tuning of a setup but be careful with that... a little oversteer could catch you by surprise at times and kick out your rear end. I like a little understeer on the street and keep the oversteer for hte track.

i was very lucky to have them come with the car when i bought it. They're very hard to get in the states...so i've heard. You pretty much have to import them from japan and costs roughly 2200 to 2500 including importing them cause they're damn heavy. Today i just replaced the metal strut top mounts with STI rear strut top mounts....no more rattling...the car feels more firm.
