Note 4 mounting points in a totally unboxed-in design with an adjustable threaded middle section that will flex more than a tulip after a snail "runs" by it...

Definately needs to have a second lateral support for it to do any real stiffening.

I always felt that the "adjustable" braces were just to avoid an "exact fit" and always make me think that the manufacturer is lazy....just my opinion. Adjustability has it's place with certain parts....but I don't see it helping in Strut braces and the like.
