Mixing brands for preferred ride height?
Has anybody done this? Mixing the front set of springs with another brand of rear springs. Anybody have any info on doing this and pros/cons.. other than high price and that i should just get coilovers instead..
Thanks
Thanks
This a bad idea unless you research your springs, and know a lot about suspensions. You could end up with a progressive front and a linear rear, also you could end up with a car that handles very dangerously. Just get coilovers.

i have an even better idea, put different springs and shocks on all 4 corners. that way you can get your car to be perfectly set up for the drive to work....

You should check out the specs of the springs to make sure the rates are compatible, though. You'll notice that different manufacturers play with the front and rear spring rates for different reasons, and as long as you keep them somewhat balanced (don't use cushy on one end and hard as heck on the other), you will not have a problem.
Do your research and you are good to go.
