Midcorner bumps and steering feel

Has anyone with a gc8 ever noticed that while hitting mid corner bumps the steering gets throw off/around pretty badly. Any thoughts on what this could be or what i could do to remedy it.

Do you have any susp. mods? if so, what?

...and that's pretty normal in any car, I think.

I noticed the stock WRX gets "upset" in turns when hitting bumps as well. I was able to add significant stability with Koni inserts (or cheaper kyb agx) adjustable struts. Even when set to full-soft, they are noticeably firmer than stock and increase stability after hittin bumps, grade changes, or in general while making sharp transitions.

You may want to add some suspension bracing (strut tower braces, lower arm bar, etc). Sounds like your steering geometry is changing when you hit the bump.

Are you lowered? If so, that might be part of the problem.

Only suspension mods are front and rear strut braces and a bigger rear sway bar. The thought had crossed my mind that my struts were starting to go bad. So i may get some new struts and prob. springs too. Or from some of the things i have read it seems the whiteline alk might help remedy the problem. Any more input form anybody would be great
