Need help!
Cant afford a coilover setup.
Heard that aftermarket springs dont quite work too well (or too long) with OEM struts.
A VW guy at work said "just get a cup kit"... He then explained that there are matched spring and strut sets for VWs.
I am wondering if anyone knows if there are (and whwre to get) matching performance spring/strut kits for 2002 WRX sedan.
I dont need adjustability. I am just looking for a slight drop (1" to 1.5") with reduced body roll in turns. Dont want bone-jarring on mu daily driver! Just a little better than stock.
Thanks!

eibach pro kit or prodrive lowering springs are only a few lbs heavier than stock so they dont affect the stock struts much more than usual. i have a car thats been on eibach springs and stock struts for over 40,000 miles and its fine.

I think when your VW buddy mentioned a "cup kit" he meant H&R.
I know that H&R manufactures a cup kit for many euro cars. They have a coilover kit for around $1200-1400(depending on vendor)
But other then that, your options at STi take-offs, Koni inserts, or get the KYB AGX's for an older GC bodystyle.
