Hi All,

I've searched through a lot of posts and there is a lot of excellent info on this and other forums with regard to all types of suspensions. I've got the info (spring rate, bump, rebound etc.) on the STi version 7 setup, and I know how that works, since it's the stock one for my car but I was wondering if anyone had any info on the KYB AGX struts (bump and rebound for any of the settings), and the spring rates for the prodrive springs. I'm getting a lot of clunking in the rear, and I'm fairly certain it's the struts. I've eliminated everything else except the strut mounts and the struts themselves.

I know the Version7 is considered an upgrade for WRX's, and I know the larger piston size and inverted setup compared to the AGX's will result in less flex, and should result in cooler fluid temps within the shocks, so in theory the stock STi inverted setup is better, but it's also very expensive, and from some threads I have read, prone to clunking and stiction issues. Both of which my rear shocks have now. Slightly more flex from a thinner piston is not a problem IMHO for street use, but I really don't want to end up with a softer setup (on the hardest settting of the AGX) than the stock Version 7 suspension.

Bottom line, is two, actually three questions:

Does anyone have any technical data on the KYB AGX struts and prodrive springs?
Does anyone have any experience with both setups, that can offer any opinions on the feel of one compared to the other?
Can the Prodrive springs work with the Version 7 struts?
