I have tried everything, even searched didnt find anything. I am thinking that the I didnt get the proper motors for the rear struts, I put them on and it wont catch any of the threads it just pushes straight down and wont go on. This box was un-opened from the people i ordered it from. I even flip flopped motors from the fronts to rears etc etc, nothing works. these motors will just spin on top of the strut for hours and never catch the threads. Any tricks to the rears or is my hunch that they are just the wrong motors right probably?(ps. the fronts fit perfect. and the instructions even say 2005 STI Impreza). And no the threads aren't stripped.

 

The motors for my rear coilovers fit just like the front ones. Something might be wrong with the mounts or your rear coilovers. Maybe the EDFC u got was made for the ss system and not the Flex's. I have the flexs on my 05 Sti too but i dont have the box that says the model number for the mounts. Im guessin that they gave you motors for a different coilover system for the Sti.

 

How do you guys like your Flex, and how do you like using the EDFC? Do you AutoX with them? That is my primary reason for asking. Thanks!
