I think that you should just go with the STI setup that dealers offer. You get STI springs and struts. Even with the STI setup the car will still roll a little bit. How much roll do you want to get rid of?

You don't want a car to be roll-free. It will ride like crap, unless you think that go-karts (no body roll) ride well over bumps. Compliance is a good thing.
If you set a car up to be literally stiff, with no body roll, it will be an exceptional track car, in the dry. F1 teams dial in a higher ride height, and more body roll, if you will, for wet or bumpy tracks. This is because if they hit anything, the stiff, unyielding car will simply skitter after bouncing off of the obstacle. It will be very twitchy to drive.
This same car will also be very uncomfortable.
Having said that, the AGXs don't ride particularly well, IMHO. I had some, and didn't like the ride at all. To flatten out the ride, you need a series of things: stiff struts, stiff springs and honkin' sway (anti-roll, if you will) bars, plus stiff, low-profile tires so that you don't get any sidewall deflection, either.
There are a host of steps in between a soft, compliant ride and total stiffness. The combo that you propose will put you on the stiff side of that equation.
Hope that helps,
Kevin

If you can't get the alignment you want there is no reason to use them. In my experience alignment can make the difference between an understeer pig and a nuetral wonder.
STI struts are amazing, and theSTI springs are great too. You could even throw on some Ground control springs for adjustability. I love my all STI V5 set up though. Perfect all around suspension, and you don't have to adjust anything once it's installed.

Can't answer the original question without knowing what kind of driving you'll be doing.
If you live where roads are relatively pothole-free and predominantly curvy and fun to drive, the KYB/AGX with springs of your choice on Ground Control perches will make you smile. Can be stiff, but that will also be a function of your spring rate choice.
I have the GC setup on my wagon (with larger anti-sway bars f/r) and I like the resultant flat cornering. I have a road racing background, just so you know where I'm coming from. BTW, GC has a donut for the top of the rear strut/spring that allows proper alignment.
That said, I welcome the opportunity to try the STI package and see how it fits my particular situation and driving style.
It's nice to have choices. Happy Motoring!

i worked on a gc8 w/ agx' and sti springs, and 20mm rear sway bar. the handled like a dream. i don't remember what he had the shocks set at, but the setup took all the understeer problem normally associated w/ the car. and it wasn't too stiff at all. had some thunk over bumpy roads, but then again i kinda like that.
