first of all what the **** is a knoi?!?! i wish people would pull their head out and at least check the title of their thread before they post it.

anyway, if you could provide any specific information whatsoever, perhaps people could give you a more specific answer. as of now, all i can tell you is that something is loose. you need to go back through the install in your head and retighten every single bolt you touched and you need to use the proper torque values specified in the shop manual. oh wait, let me guess you don't have the shop manual. you need to get your hands on one before attempting any more work on your car because you really aren't doing very without it now are you?

my first guess would be that you need to jack the rear of the car up and tighten the 17mm nut at the top of the strut to the proper torque spec while making sure that the piston of the strut isn't turning with the nut. do you even have a torque wrench?

"plane". I just wanted to beat Steppin to the punch

Is the spring seated properly? Rear strut tower bolts are a pain to get to. Those are the ones I'd look at first. Also, you could try jacking up that corner and putting it on a stand. Then use the jack to relieve the tension in the system by jacking up the wheel a bit. Get your hand in there and start jiggling stuff around. Just an idea...

It's almost certainly the bolt holding the strut shaft to the tophat. And the thread says Koni now.

Edit: now that I think about it, these are inserts. Are you absolutely positive the strut housing is exactly the right length for that insert? It would ony take being off by like 1/8" to get the clunk.
