clunking noise??

Hey I heard my cars suspension making a kinda clunking / rattle while I'm turning at about 25-30 mph I just started hearing it a 3 days ago
I have H&R springs with stock struts the car has 11k miles on it and i put the springs on at 2k miles could the struts just have gone out?
Or is ther anyway stock bolts/nut can just back out.
the noise is in front i think Thank you for any advise - Miguel

Could the CV joints be having issues? What's the clunking sound like?

Kinda hard do discribe but it only does it while going faster speed

Plus how do you check them I will have the car in the air tomorrow

Miguel,
I just had this problem last week where under 25mph I would hear the clunking/thumping in the rear right side. I took the rear wheel off and found that the coilover spring had settled so much that i could turn the spring easily by hand. I readjusted the coilover nuts and reseated the spring. it fixed the sound.
So try turning the springs if you can on the perch to reseat them. That might help.

Opps, I didn't see where your problem is coming from the front. Sorry. I would still try to reseat the springs though. Not sure if that's easily accesible but a cheap try.

BTW, at least on my springs and other posts I have seen. Reseating the springs ( even a quarter turn) can make a difference. My spring has this rubber seal on top and I'm guessing after time made a depression. This seal helps minimize noise. Good luck!

So I should try turning them a little.
So axle wouldn't be the problem or most likely aren't i hope

Does anyone know of a good shop that can check them out for me near Fairfield/vacaville

You may also wanna check your Sway Bars.....I have heard of ppl who put bigger sway bars on, have problems with the sway breaking the stock mounts. Hopefully not tho.

my stock sway bar mounts broke in the rear and was making a knocking sound against my exhaust. i ended up getting the heavy duty mounts from whiteline from MPJ. I never heard of the mounts failing, just the endlinks... oh well.
