I recently bought a wrx that came with yellowish springs, the drop seems to be about 1.25 inches or so. I have a 3.5 finger gap in the front and maybe a 2 or 3 in the rear. Anyone have any guesses as to what they might be?

 

I feel that I have been through just about every spring available prior to purchasing the ones for me. Never have I run across a subie application that included yellow springs. In fact the only company I know that makes yellow springs is Neuspeed, but they are strictly Honda, Ricer appilcable to the best of my knowledge...
That would be my guess, either that or someone painted the ones you have yellow-but I'm sure that would be just to easy...Good luck

 

It could be something like Aerospeed, or some other random, cheapie brand.

 

MRT used to be yellow, I think.
