How much fender gap on a wagon?
My car seems to ride abnormally high in the front. It looks like about 1.5 inches higher than the rear. What springs would bring me to level height, gap wise. I've got an audio system installed so the added weight is probably contributing to the differential in fender gap from front to rear. Anyone with a stock height wagon give me an idea of their fender gap, measured from center of wheel to bottom lip of fender. That way wheels are not taken into account.
Thanks

stock gap in the front is about your whole hand tall. the rear is lower just due to the body pannel going lower. its easier if you look at your window lines and the lower sideskirt lines if you want to even out your car. I had tein type wgn coilover and you can just simply raise the rears up a few turns to even things out with your heavy speakers back there.
I have STi pink springs and struts v7. The gap in the rear is less but it's due to the body of the wagon. If you look at the car it's pretty level, just a bit lower. I can't remember how much it lowered it but it was just enough.

these pics should give you an idea of what I ended up with. I'm actually going to increase the front gap a little bit because I still get slight rubbing on the track on hard right handers.

Service Manual goes by top of fender gap straight down to center of the wheel. For the WRX Wagon the stock suspension measurements (make sure you are on level ground) are
F: 387mm +-12mm
R: 376mm +-12mm
The rear fender doesn't curve as deep as the front, so it looks like it's lower. I've found that a good ride height with coilovers are 355F-360R I've had pretty good success on DMS 50s like this. Only a slight rub on the rear fender with 225 tires on hard autocross grade turns.
