I don't have them on the car anymore, but they were Gram Lights 57C in gunmetal. This picture was taken just before the close up above.

Now I've got the full Stoptech BBK with the same Axxis Ultimates and they seem to dust a lot less.

I'll stop post-whoring now.

Cut it out already!

So anyway, depending on how hard you drive, the pads will last for awhile. The fronts will get warn down quicker than the rears as the front brakes do most of the stopping.

I had the StopTech Stage 1 kit and I burned up the front pads on a couple of track days and some hard road-rally trips. But the rears were ok. I switched to some other pads for both the front and rear but they were not as good for track/they didn't last as long as the Ultimates. So now I'm back to my original ultimates for the rear, new ultimates for the front and then another set of pads for track (Pagid Orange). These are for the same kit as wrXrated (ST-40). Both sets of aftermarket pads that I've used dust more than stock. It's the nature of the pads.

Thumbs up

Sweet!!!!!!

So ya, depending on how you drive/how much you drive I would say 6 months to 1yr. under 'normal' driving.

Now if your wrXrated...maybe a month with all the +100mph to 0 stops he does!

oh man this thread makes me want to kick my own *** for crashing my black wagon...

but yeah, even stoptech will tell you that ultimates dust. you will however be extremely hard pressed to find a true street pad that performs better.

pagid (pronounced with a soft "g" like bag or hag or fa... i mean yeah those brits are a wierd bunch) orange is a great compound for those who absolutely refuse to change pads when they go to the track. it's not a true street pad, and not a true race pad, but lies somewhere in between and is able to both reasonably well.

Hey, what color are those rims? They are Rota SDR's right?

Edit: They aren't are they? I just realised why they look so good... *sigh* Why can't I find good looking cheap rims.

Back to pads, so anyone have opinions on Carbotech bobcats?

You're right, Lowball's rims are indeed Rota SDR's in anthracite.
