the pad should last u quite a while (i'd say at least 6 months?) under normal driving
with heavy tracking it lasts a few track days.. so i'm sure normal driving will be ok
u can hear it REALLY squeaking when it wears out
plus just check it out occasionally to make sure you're ok

had those pads on my civic...never noticed the break dust being too big a problem...but then again I washed it twice a week sometimes.

I thought they were less dusty than the aem's. I noticed dust all the time with those dang things.....axxis was only on those really good days..lol.

but it should be okay if you wash your car often, like weekly
inland empire....sweet...have family there...lived there some myself.

Anyways...yeah they dust...if you drive hard, track or not and I did notice that if I drove in a heavy day of stop and go traffic they would more....did you guys notice this?

I had silver painted wheels so it didn't show that bad...that might be why I didn't have the same level of problem as you guys. and I washed my wheels very regularly..even if I didn't give my car the full make over the wheels got it often..I have found that if you don't have time to wash the car..wash the wheels..makes it look a little cleaner.

A picture is worth a thousand words. 3 days of street driving on Ultimates (stock brakes w/ Stoptech rotors at that time):

holy crap.

That is some serious dust...I guess it's been a while so I don't remember so well but I don't remember having that much dust on no track days and I had light silver wheels....crazy.

I know those dust more than some of their other pads... that's for sure..I ran those and what's the other ones...metal matrix or something....sorry I haven't dealt with brake pads in a while.

Wow...so the proof is in the pudding....ultimates dust like the desert in august.
