Hey Skywalker...
I understand that you and Chris have each of the Prodrive street setups. I have a line on a used P1, so I have been looking into the differences between the P1 and the WR setups. Which one rides better? I will only be driving my RS for the purpose of going fast before long, so as long as the ride isn't so harsh it will make me break stuff, I will accept that if the performance tradeoff is worth it.
Anyways, I found that the SPT springs have almost the same rates (within 2 lbs front and 5 lbs rear) as the P1, so I was wondering how the STi V5 struts compare to the P1? Any and all feedback you guys can give me will be appreciated. Oh, most of what I know about these setups comes from Mike Shields, and a few other sources.
EDIT: Oh yeah, I've got a GM6. In case that's important...

P1 setup:
Uses Pink Eibach springs specifically designed to Prodrive specs
Uses V5/6 struts.
WR setup:
Uses Eibach Springs, made to Prodrive specs
Uses Bilstein Struts
I have the WR setup and Bill has the P1 setup. I have been in Bill's car and the two setups are pretty equal in terms of stiffness and comfort. There is a minimal drop in ride height for either one of the setups. You cannot go wrong with either setup.

Yeah I figured Prodrive and Eibach wouldn't go for real low ride height. I thought that the P1 setup was the gray one though? And if it is the same as the SPT springs and V5 struts, why are they priced so differently?

WR is a little stiffer, a little more made for the track. But a little...
If you're looking for something like stock, but lower, and stiffer, and with much much better dampening, and agility, go with the P1s...
want even more agility, go with the WR setup...
