H6 rears

Who is running H6 rears on their WRX?

I'm getting new brakes: rotors, lines, pads so this is the opportunity to upgrade the rear to H6. Just wondering if it's worth the added cost of the brackets and a bit on the rotors.

I'm in the same boat.. looking at all new brakes, thought I'd do the H6 upgrade at the same time. But I've been told it's more trouble than it's worth and if I just upgrade from the OEM to some good pads and rotors that I'll forget all about the H6 stuff.

yeah, if you dont want to replace the calipers the Stoptech Stage2 is a good way to go. It comes with slotted rotors, pads, line, and fluid. good tires will help your brakes perform better as well.

you can get Brembo blanks in H6 size for 59/each and the H6 brackets are 105.

the racing brake kit does not come with pads... or at least that I can tell. if it does that is awesome deal.

You have to click the add pads option (for the Hawk HPS's)

Doesn't the H6 upgrade consist of a larger caliper?

From boxer4racing:
RacingBrake Kit includes Two rotors with left and right caliper brackets and Hawk HPS Street Pads.

yeah that's what I thought. it's not 262 for rotors, brackets and pads.

H6 uses the stock calipers. The rotor size is larger, iirc it's about an inch larger. that's why the brackets are necessary.

Do the stock 16" wrx rims still fit with the H6 Upgrade?

How much does it affect brake bias?
