Hello all I was wondering if anyone can tell me what the maxium I can lower my 02 WRX with out having to install a camber kit? I was looking at buying a Tein spring kit taht has a 2" in the front and a 0.7 in the rear. I would really rather have a set that gave the car a more balanced stance if anyone could recommend a good set for the street please let me know. FYI I am planning on a set of 17" 225 size tires.
TIA

Or you could go with the Prodrive Springs, designed specifically to work with the stock struts of your car. It will lower your car about 1" in the rear and about 1.5"s in the front.

Thanks for the advice. Just took a ride in a friends new STI, Now i think I should just trade mine in for an STI and a new pack of boxers. Holy **** what a fun car to drive! But cant afford that payment. =( Thanks I will be shopping tomorrow for them and I will look for those brands. I also think that I will get a TurboXS BOV. I plan on getting a new Up pipe and opfcourse down pipe with my exhaust. Is there a combination that anyone has experimented with that works the best?
Thanks

i would suggest going through the performance forums and read up on whats available and what others recommend. check out the suspension forum and the wrx powerplant forum as for other mods.
as for your questions, you will not need to buy a "camber kit" with just springs. there are camber bolts stock in the front. however its always a good idea to get some rear camber bolts to install with it so you can adjust the rear. if you go with coilovers then a lot of people install camber plates so they can easily adjust camber as needed.
as for a bov, read up in the other forums. the debate of wether a bov is benefical or even hurtful to a fairly stock engine has been discussed many times. although most people do bovs for the bling factor.

I think you would have to get an alignment once you install the springs anyway. But, you would also have to buy camber bolts if you want to drop it lower than about 1.5 inches.
