Question front strut bar installation question

Hey so i'm currently trying to install my front strut bar on a 2003 wrx. I bought the STI PINK strut bars. I know that i have to bend the A/C line, but my question is...how can you bend the A/C line without damaging anything? And what kind of tool can you use to bend the A/C line. I'm limited on tools so therefore i don't have a pipe bender or anything of that sort.

Also, if you can maybe point me in a direction, maybe send me some links or pictures, that would be great.

Thanks.

Hmmm, I'm not aware of the A/c Line hitting the strut bar. Is it a knock off? Anyway, take palm of hand and force the sucker. It's unlikely you'll damage anything. post a pic where it hits.

i figured it out. There's basically a screw the hold the A/C line into place. I just unbolted the screw and let the A/C line fall down and i had room to install the strut with out the A/C line interfering with the bar.

Wont the A/C line bang around now without that screw securing it?

no not at all, it seems pretty sturdy. there's very little room for the A/C line to move, and once you install the strut bar it kinda pushes down on the line. It sorta of holds it in place. Me and my buddy both did the same thing and we haven't had any problems with it so far.

I remember this now. The little bracket that holds the line; move it back passed the 90deg that runs along the fire wall. Attach it with the bolt that's there. This pulls the line way out of the way.

If the A/c line touches anything, it will wear through. It's just "aloominum".
