Fit GC Coilovers on GD/GG?

I have heard rumors on fitting GC struts or Coilovers on new Impreza 2003+ bodies.
Does anyone have any insight or experience with this?
I just have a set of old Zeal Coilovers from my friends GC that I wouldn't mind fitting on the WRX.
Thanks in advance guys.

They will work fine, you just need an adapter plate for the rear strut tops. The spring rates/damping are set for the lighter GC body of course, but that just means they will feel slightly softer on the WRX, which is probably a good thing if those are Japanese style coilovers.

Thanks for your help!
So all I need to use GC strut and springs on my GD is to change the rear GC tops to GD tops? I assume I can use any kind of top and not only the Sti ones.
2004's don't fit though?
I just wanted to find out what the difference are in GC and GD configs.
Thanks for your help
