endlinks makin crazy noise
I just upgraded my swaybars and end links and drop links and they were fine for like the first two weeks no real noises. Now when I drive over large dips in the road I'm hearing this noise....but I don't know if thats it. Oh and I also have Eibach prokit from the dealer....but stock struts sooo don't know if it could be those wearing out too. Any help would be appreciated.
not sure if its the same problem as you, but when i installed my rear sway, i had some clunking, which was due to some loose bolts, so i went under, tightened everything up and have had no noises or clunking since.

Unless you installed the bar wrong, or your exhaust is aftermarket, CUSCO bar does not even come close to the exhaust. I have install over 100 CUSCO sway bars and have never had that happen. Of course, given you have the CORRECT part number sway bar for your year WRX and you are using STOCK endlinks which the bar was designed to work with.
What kind of endlinks you got, ezombie? Do they have spherical bushings in them?

I recommend stock end links but you can try retightening the Perrins and make sure it is intalled right. What year and model WRX you have and what is the cusco part number. Also make sure you have the right end links for your year and model of the car.

Binding = something is not allowing them to articulate as they are supposed to. The bolts could be too tight or not enough play in pillball. I know sway bars are diff between the STi and non-STi. Same goes for end links. I am rusty on the year difference.

Had the same problem with the rear Perrin endlinks...
Talked to Jeff Perrin....sent them in...received them back...basically, they just squirted some WD-40 took two big screwdrivers, stuck them in the ends and rotated and worked in the spherical bearings...must have been a workout...
Prior to sending them out, it took some pretty good effort to move the spherical bearings around...when I received them back, they moved more freely...
This stopped the clunking, binding sound created by the endlinks...so, you can try that...
take the endlinks off, and while you are watching tv, give your arms a workout...

You know after a little driving and listening I have noticed that the endlinks may not be the problem....I think it could be the bushings in the sway mounts. The reason I think so is the noise only happens when under the car is wet (i.e. car wash, rain, puddles.) Dont know if I should've greased the bushings first. Anyone run into that problem.
