Confused about RS suspension
Hey Guy's how's it going? New member here. I've been lurking for a few weeks now and finally decided to post.
Well here's my question. I just got a 05' 2.5RS and I'm tring to figure out what suspension parts are compatable with other Imprezas. I've been hearing the STIs are different from the WRX, and I assume that the RS is like the WRX, but what years? Are the 02-05 WRXs pretty much the same.
So far I've purchased some STI pinks springs, and some top mounts from a 05' STI. I also have some SPT struts from a 02' WRX.
Anyone know if these would work together on my car, and if not do you know why? A simple "No" answer really won't help me understand the differences between the models so please leave some sort of explanation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There were subtle changes made to the car w/ the MY04. I'm sure your car should follow the 04-05 WRX models. You can use springs for the 04-05 on 02 wrx provided you buy new top mounts. Your STI springs should work since you have the top mounts.
