hi all,
my compass mirror isnt working anymore....didnt find a fuse for it...am i overlooking something?......not sure how it can loose power.. thanks for your replies...much appreciated.

 

Try hitting the buttons. I believe one of them turns the display on and off on the compass. I believe its the right one, at least on my mirror (which may be different than yours).

He's got an 02, the dealer is going to charge him to look at it.
If it's completely dead there is a fuse in the under-dash fuse box for it, it's the same one for the lighter and mirrors. If your lighter socket is dead and the mirrors don't work that fuse is blown.

 

well sir...i think that you might have answered teh question...i'll give it a look in the daylight tomorrow...

 

And if the fuse is blown, there has to be a reason. Fuses don't just blow with no underlying cause. The most likely reason for this fuse to blow is from something you plugged into the lighter.

 

thanks man, i think i know what did it.....i had a cell phone charger that i resodered... that must be what blew it...

 

yup, i replaced the 20 amp fuse and all is well now.. thanks!
