How do you like your Compass/auto-dimming mirror and arm rest ext?

Could I install these on my own?

How do you like yours? Is it worth the money. I want to spend a bit of cash on me car but can't justify the expense of susp, TBE or ECU flash..

I have wanted the mirror - wish I got it when I got the car, and I'm thinking of the armrest ext for the extra storage..what ya think?

I have the armrest extension, but not the mirror. Some people told me it interferes with their shifting, so I went and tried it out at the dealer before I decided. It seemed fine to me and I wanted the extra storage. 400 miles in I don't feel any different. My advice is to try someone's and see if it bothers you. If it doesn't, get it.

Hey.....

If you want the armrest extension, I am selling mine. I like it for long trips, but it got in the way of my long arms on track days. Make me an offer$$$$$$

The auto dimming mirror is nice if you don't have tinted windows. My tint made it kinda useless. The compass is always a nice feature. My one complaint about the mirror is that it is the only rattle from my stereo. Trying to fix that currently. If you don't have a loud system, don't worry.

Do you have any pictures of your armrest - inside and out? Being so ****, I need it to be perfect until I screw it up

Sorry no pics....

It is in perfect condition. No scratches...
Except for the coke, ****** and flamethrowers that were stored in it (j/k)
it is like new. It even smells minty fresh.

4 screws and a popping up panel surrounding e brake slightly to remove button and put in bracket.

Took me less than 1 minute to swap.
Make me an offer.

I like both.
I have the armrest extension and long arms. Everything is fine with that.

I bought a better auto dimming compass mirror.
It is the same brand as used by Subaru(Donnelly), only mine has a temp sensor and map lights.
The map lights are awesome.
They are enclosed in the bottom, so you don't get glare like you do from the stock map lights.
It was an easy install.
I bought the factory wiring harness and plug the temp sensor wires into it.
You can read about it here

PM 'cohlineman'. He was looking to swap someone an extended armrest for a non-extended. I believe, if I recall correctly, he was willing to do a straight exchange too.
