clicking from front left brake

clicking from front left brake

i've been getting a clicking sound from my front left brake..

i have brembo slotted rotors and hawk pads in all 4 corners..

i'm pretty sure the clicking is from the pad making contact with the slots..but the sound only occurs under really light braking..if i apply more pressure, the sound disappears..

anybody have any idea what is going on?

so i had a chance to take off the caliper today..cleaned the anti rattle clips..tightened everything that needed to be tightened..even cleaned out a lot of caked brake dust..

still have the noise..

the pads show no wear and neither does the rotor..

when i test drove it after cleaning it up, it still made the noise, and yet again..only under light breaking..like, that first maybe 1/2" of pedal travel..

so i still don't know what's going on..going to the shop on monday hopefully..and hopefully i don't get charged..

From what I understand slotted rotors will make a clicking noise.

Are all your suspension components tightened down correctly. Have you installed an Anti-Lift kit lately or anything else in that area.

My friend had a clicking near his front brake section(under slow speed braking and slow off the line accelleration) and it ended up being a bolt not torqued enough, only like a small amount of torque was needed to fix said problem.

I hope you fix your clicking! Must be annoying.
