changing steering ratio on wrx?

hmm...not really a suspension question but probably the closest topic among other performance forums.

Is there any aftermarket parts to change the steering ratio of wrx? If not what are the possible ways to do so? I suppose this requires the change of the whole rack & pinion, but what are the specs to look up against?

Yes there is, you can get a new steering rack. Or you can convert your car to RHD and install a steering rack from a JDM STi impreza

The former is much easier then the later though :P

Changing the steering rack would indeed work, although I'm not certain of the existence of a LHD rack that's got a faster ratio than the WRX... Mr. Imprezer can hopefully help out. Otherwise, you'll have to hope the the US STi rack is a faster ratio than the WRX.

teva-girl got the website right. rev-lab has developed a quick-ratio steering rack for the WRX, and i believe that it goes for ~$1200. not cheap, but probably pretty darn cool. unless you're like me and spend a lot of time above 160 MPH.
