Question Camber???

A few questions:

What is the most neg. camber anyone has gotten out of the stock suspension?

Does camber vary if you have different struts?

What is the most camber on the rear you can get if you add camber bolts?

Are camber bolts ok for the rear if you are using the car on the track?

What is the stock/factory settings for camber?

Where are all the adjustment points for the front and rear camber for stock set up?

I know you have the front camber bolts, but what other adjustment points are there?

Thanks,

Lowball

any ride height changes that you make to the car with differant length struts/springs will change the camber. ditto for coilovers.

some people like camber bolts, some don't. i personally would rather use camber plates up top, or adjustable lateral links rather than camber bolts -- hence no aftermkarket camber bolts on my car.

stock settings are pretty mild, but i'm not sure exactly what they are. all i know for sure is that they're less than -1 in the front, and less than -.5 in the rear.

What would be the reason that some do not like the camber bolts? Just not enough adjustability??

Do they make camber plates for the rear as well as the front?

Right now I have the STi strut tops...so I don't know that I want to replace them so I may be forced to use the bolts in the rear. Same goes for the lateral links...have STi's which are not adjustable.

camber bolts aren't the most elegant, or robust of solutions. i've heard of them coming out of adjustment, breaking, etc. many people also prefer to adjust camber from the top.

several companies make camber plates for the rear. Cusco, MRT, and Noltec all spring to mind, though there may be more.

from fsm:

wrx wagon:
rear = 1 degree 20 minutes
front = 20 minutes

wrx sedan:
rear = 1 degree 30 minutes
front = 25 minutes
