Brakes on 98 Subaru Forrester
Is it possible to have a reliable brake operation analysis done to determine how the front and rear brakes are working with respect to the load carried by each? I recently had some brake work done and it "seems to me" that the front brakes are doing about 80 percent of the braking with the rear brakes doing the other 20 percent. The brakes just don't "feel right" to me. The front brakes appear to be grabbing and appear very sensitive. I realize that this is not a very technical description but this is not my area of expertise. I did return to the dealer and they claim that brakes are OK after doing a test drive, however, I am not convinced. So, once again, is there a computer based machine that can do a meaningful analysis of brake operation?? Note: This is my first time using this forum, so I hope I am following proper protocol.
Thanks
