Love the STI - but got the HOTS for the forrester turbo !

Just got back from the NY auto show - loved that blue STI - but - I tell you - I'm in LOVE with the forester turbo - - the 210 HP INHO was just limited so that it did not out do the WRX - - seems to be that forester could be screaming with 300 wheel hp with the basic WRX mods - - anyway - i want the ultimate sleeper - and did you see that metalic black paint - man - a great baby hauwler !

Al, i'm going to have to get with you on this one. For me, if I good only have one nice new car, a fast, tight cornering, no leather, manual tranny, no flare car is the only way. If I could afford a nice G-ride

, I would love to to have a Black turbo Forrester with tan leather interior and wood grain. I'd drop it ans sit it on chrome 18's, dark tint all around, 3 12's in the back, and of couse the basic mods to bring it 300hp. I'm not thinking about family. This ride would be used for dates, hanging with my non-race enthused homies, when I have to wear a suit, longer trips, and maybe to enter in car shows if I decked out the interior enough. Though I hate automatics, I think my G-ride would have to have no stick.

I've never been one to like Foresters. But I've got to say that this current model looks sweet. I'd consider a turbo Forester if they don't have a souped up Legacy for sale in a few years.

My wife has a forester and I have loved it's practicality The car will go any where in the snow. Then something amazing happened! I was reading the spring issue of DRIVE and I saw the turbo forester and I emediately fell in love with it! I think it is going to be one of the hottest SUV's out there! Look out all of you nissan murano awners, prepare to be spanked!

metoo- i'm not saying i dont agree with you on the g-ride thing but the vw passat wagon has it beet. not in speed or performance, but your hard pressed to find a smoother looking wagon than that, especially when its tinted, lowered, and riding on 19s.

There is a good chance I'll be replacing my RS with one this summer. The worst thing about it though is you can only get the manual in the lower model. If you want the sunroof and leather you HAVE to get the auto. I think it's BS myself. I love that huge sunroof. But there is no way I could get an auto. We need more people to e-mail Subaru about this so they change their mind.

You know what those cars make me think of? Those really tasteful people who put expensive clothes on their dogs and take them to the grooers like every 3 days, and all along the dog is just wishing it was rolling in the dirt or chasing a squirell. A Subaru is NOT MEANT TO BLING!!!!
