Brake System???
Does the 03 wrx brake system front and rear work together when you depress the brake pedal? or are they independent meaning the front brakes are controlled by the brake pedal and the rear are controlled by the emergency brake only? I know this sounds like a stupid question and i know that the second examlpe is more than likely the correct answer. I am just asking because i remember reading somewhere that if you were to replace the complete front brake system that you should also replace the rear also due to some kind of wear i'm not to sure so thats why i am asking.........thanks

Its all control by the brake pedal (1 Master cycinder). If you bleed the front brakes, you should bleed the rear brakes. But you don't have to change the rears when you change the fronts (but the rears should be checked to see if they need replacing). The emergency brake only control the shoes inside the drum of the rear brakes, they do not control the rear calipers.
