Brake Squeal

I have an "04 STi which has annoying brake squeal, but only when I apply the brakes while reversing. It is especially annoying when backing out of parking stalls. Has any STi owners experienced this? I mentioned this to the tech at my first oil change, he said not to worry, but it is damned irritating. Your input will be much appreciated.

Car Info: 2004 Subaru STI/WRX Silver of course
I get what sounds like gringing on my STI brakes I am assuming it is the compound of the pads and they squeal when coming to a stop I just assumed it was normal. My brakes on my MY01 RS I had squealed after I put Axxis pads on it.. Do you get any clicking or any similiar sound when coming to a stop if nobody else is hearing this I am gonna take the car in and have them looked at.

Took my car in to service yesterday to have them look at the brakes. After looking at them, they found nothing to be wrong with it mechanically. They explained to me that it is something that I will have to live with. Am I the only STi owner that has this problem? If I am not alone, then I guess I'll accept it.
