Usually you buy a new one. But a smallish mechanic shop would probably make a new one...

It's up to you... I would find the price out for a new hard line.

I agree, get new ones, I think brake line flairs aren't like normal flairs, they double back I thought. Better safe than sorry. Brake line cheap, front end not so much...

yeah, but consider the alternatives. if you do it right, you have nothing to worry about. if you try and work arround it, you might wind up rear ending someone, not being able to stop getting off the freeway or any number of other unpleasant scenarios. new lines are cheaper than a new front end,increased insurance premiums...the list goes on and on.

if you can get a bender cheap and the right size it might work. Don't try to bend the line w/ your hands though.
