Question Brake Caliper Mounts ('97 Impreza L)

ordered some reman'd 97 legacy gt calipers.. but they mount differently than my current ones. current calipers slide onto the top mount, while the bottom one is a ~100mm bolt with thread only on the last ~20mm that slides thru the caliper. the calipers i just ordered need to bolt directly to the mount by the looks of them. now if i find a 98 and up caliper mount for any subie, will this work? will i need anything else (besides the bolts for bolting the caliper on)?

well ive been having some issues...

rebuilt my calipers about 5k ago (the calipers were off a 96 legacy gt, unknown mileage, ive put about 65k on them). about a week and a half ago (after having a new half shaft installed) the reason for having the half shaft replaced re-appeared.
felt like i was driving on a square tire. it would come and go every couple of miles.

ended up i had a semi-stuck brake piston that now is completely stuck. got it pushed back into the caliper but now it only moves about 2mm before it stops. tried using an air compressor to blow it out (with the other piston clamped), then tried using the brake system itself. it would go about 2mm again, then stop. also bent my 8 inch c-clamp with the clamped piston.
