Best suspension combinations
First off I would just like to mention that I'm new member to the group.
I have a 06 wrx and was looking to modify the suspension. Let it be rigid enough for the track and tolerable on the road. Right now I have front and rear strut bars. In the near future I was thinking about enhancing the suspension and I am asking for any ideas as well as suggestions for the cars.
The first thing I wanted to do was get the cusco zero 2E coilovers with the e-con controller. I want to be able to control the cars height from time to time.
Then I would get the whiteline anti-lift kit, cusco type II lower bar arm, cusco rear lateral links, and the whiteline sway bar endlinks.
I was thinking about keeping the stock sway bars because the aftermarket ones seem to degrade ride quality.
Looking for any ideas and suggestions to make the best decision.

Mod one at a time. Mod to your preferences. That's really about it. I've never heard about sway bars decreasing ride quality. I think that is mostly dependent on the shocks and springs you use. Lateral links don't really contribute to suspension. They are more of an alignment (toe and camber adjustment). I don't think your strut tower braces really do anything either.
Start with sway bars and work your way from there.

The e-con controller does not affect ride height. How did you decide on Cusco's?
Swaybars do not really affect ride quality and are a great first step.
ALK is good, cusco lower arm bar is good. Worry about other things before getting those lateral links.
Do you plan to track your car or auto-x in a specific class?

Thanks for the help.
I got confused about the e-con controller it just adjusts dampening. I thought cusco coilovers would be the best because I thought that ride height was adjustable.
I thought cusco's would be a good choice because of their popularity, but being a noob I'm starting to realize there are many other options. I'm also starting to realize that I really don't know too much about coilovers and don't want to be the person to get something without being able to use it. It would probably be better to make a decision on coilovers once I am more familiar with the mechanics of it and once I have experience in Auto-x. Right?
Also for swaybars I was either thinking the whiteline or cusco 22 mm and just about any companies sway bar end links would work well? Also, is it better to get front and rear adjustable swaybars?
I'm most likely gonna autocross the car.

Listen to Racecomp. I'm running Ohlins coilovers with front and rear Cusco sway bars and strut tower bars with ADVAN Neova tires and it handles damn good. It ride like a race car though, be ready for decrease in a ride quality.

There are alot of coilovers suspension setups out there and some had awesome reviews like the RCE tarmac 2's, BC BR racing coilovers(highly comparable to TEIN monoflex),ohlins, zeal,stance,cusco.. Not sure about ohlins because i never ridden on that setup but zeal isnt that aggresive based on 6k/4k and not sure on the cusco 2E's but the 2r's are really aggresive. Stance especially the flagship models are aggresive based on darkonions statistics and heard is comparable to the cusoco 2r's. just my .02 cents. But yeah like darkonion said, start with Front and rear sways and throw in the side cowls whille you're at it.. Hope this helps.
The Ohlins are tolerable if you don't slam the car on its *** and fiddle with the settings a bit. I keep mine pretty tight but I have a DD to drive most of the time and take out the Subaru on occasion.
I would say auto-x your car a couple times first, then see what you want to do.
Maybe just get some 24mm front and rear whiteline swaybars for now. That alone will make the car feel completely different. Kartboy endlinks are great....strong and quiet.
IF you are new to this I recommend doing things in steps so you can feel the difference each mod makes.
Oh and skip the ALK if you auto-x, it's illegal in most classes.
