Rear Sway Bar Q's
Please don't tell me to do the search. Cuz frankly, its kind of a pain in the a$$ to find my answer.
Is there any difference in fitment between the 04 and 06? I'd really like to pick up cobb's stage 1 suspension package but I'm not sure if it's gonna fit. At a bare minimum I'd like to pick up the rear sway bar with some nice new end links. Thanks in advance for the help!

I'm pretty sure the wrx suspension is the same from '04-'06. Only differences are from sti to standard wrx. Sti's are a bit longer and their endlinks are different. Also front end links and sways are different on wagons and sedans.

I'm talking about a 2.5i. I actually went to my local dealership and spoke with the parts manager. He said things haven't changed from '04 all the way up to '07. If anyone else has some input on this it would be appreciated. This guy can be kind of a dub sometimes so I'm not sure if he was talking out of his *** or not.

You are right about Cobb's web site specifying only up to '04 or '05 for the RS/2.5i. You might consider contacting Cobb and asking them about fitment for your model year.

The 2.5i is the same also. Only difference on the swaybar are the bushings. They were changed from MY02-03 to the MY04 -. Make sure the send you the correct rear bushings if you stay w/ the stock mounts.

Well actually just checked out Rallitek's front/rear swaybar kit. (http://www.rallitek.com/swbarkitfr.html). Looks like a good deal with the sale going on.
Last Question: (for now at least)
How is this gonna be to install if I don't have a lift? I believe I read that the car should be standing under normal conditions when installing. Normal meaning not jacked up on one side.

The rear anti-sway bar is relatively easy to change out with the car sitting on the ground, at least if your car rides at stock height. I changed out my '02 WRX rear bar for a Cusco bar and improved Whiteline end links without raising the car.
You can also jack up your car by the rear differential and lower onto ramps so that the car sits at normal ride height but allows you more room to work. Just set parking brake and use wheel chocks in the front for safety.
