93 impreza sway bars
I liked the results of putting wrx wheels on my girlfriends car, I thought I'd see about taking some of the wallow out of the handling.
I did a couple searches, but I'm not clear on the using stockwrx sways on her car. She has a plain-jane impreza awd wagon.
Has anyone put larger sways from a wrx on an impreza, or know if it is a simple remove and replace type job?

There's lots of replacement sway bars available for it. Search google and e-bay. As far as WRX bars go, they're shaped different, but should bolt right in. (Someone jump in and correct me if I'm wrong
) I'd recommend going with the aftermarket sway bars, they're bigger, and going to give you better results than WRX ones.

WRX front swaybars are not compatible.
HOWEVER, ALL Impreza rear swaybars from 93-03 are compatible. They have identicle dimensions other than the diameter of course.
I myself have a 20mm WRX sedan bar on my 95 L coupe, and ive also had a 17mm WRX wagon bar on my car as well.
Also, you need to check and see if that 93 actually comes with a rear swaybar. Some of them (like mine) didnt actually come with a rear sway bar. You can fix this though, just get the correct rear trailing links that have the connections for swaybar endlinks, some stock endlinks and endlink bolts, and swaybar mounting brackets and you can install it on the car
(This is also something I have done myself)
