2004 Wagon Suspension into a 2002?
I am possibly selling my Tein WGN coilover set-up. If I were to sell to an 04 owner, can we just switch? The 04 owner would have the necessary 02 tophats and I would have a stock 04 suspension. Do you think there would be any major issues?

as long as tophats are switched it shouldn't be an issue... I was just reading about it on nabisco since I'm an 04 owner and we don't have much wagon specific stuff.

Just curious... why are you going back to stock suspension?

Owl Boogie - you'll need the 04 hats as well. As long as you use a complete 04 strut assembly (hats, spring, struts, etc.) you'll be fine. IMO you shoudn't match 02/03 hats with 04 struts or 04 hats with 02/03 struts. The end of the strut piston differs between the two years. I have found that the hats don't sit properly and lead to knocking. Some haven't had issues, but we did.

Thanks all. We've decided to install my old struts, springs and tops. Man, all this work to make my car handle worse.

I'll see if I have a deal with my friend then I'll entertain other offers.
