I know this must sound like crazy talk and the exact opposite of what people are trying to do, but my wife doesn't like riding in my 2004 WRX with stock suspension, UK-17 rims, 215/45-17 Pirelli PZero Nero, strut braces F/R, Do-Luck frame brace, and COBB 25mm rear sway bar. Says it's too rough of a ride over the uneven roads around here in San Jose, therefore we drive her Audi around instead (I hate driving automatics).
Are there any guys on here with 2.5RS cars, stock suspension, and 17s? Is the ride any softer than a similarly equipped WRX? The ride is obviously softer with the 16's, but that's not an option for me. I'm keeping the wider 17s.
I know that 2.5RS guys install WRX suspensions on their cars. Would putting 2.5RS suspension on my car make the ride any softer so we can drive together in the Subie instead? Just thinking about my options...
Thanks in advance!
Rob
