I want to put my tax refund to good use so, I have been researching the formus to find the best suspension set up for an 07 wrx cruising in the bay area, but most are for auto-x, rally, etc. We have pretty $#!tty roads here and I have hit more than my fair share of pot holes... bent a rim on a good one going to Sac on 80... I want a responsive setup that will let me carve the corners on the occational backroad, but mostly for freeway driving. I've put on about 36k on my subie in 2 years. I don't anticipating auto-x anytime soon, so pretty much just dd.
My current suspension set up includes tokico d-specs, jdm pinks, .25" saggy butt shims, winter setup: oem rims with re960's; summer setup: oem with re01r.
I love how the tokicos ride so I plan on keeping them, but the pinks still leave something to be desired (which is why I have the saggy butt shims
). Love the re01r's! I have turninconcepts.com unibombers sexy rear end kit, but its not installed yet.
Based on what I've read this is what plan to do (suggestions welcome):
Front sway: whiteline 24mm adj
Rear sway: whiteline 24mm adj
Endlinks: kartboy
Springs: RCE Yellows
Spacers: 10mm ichiba on oem rims (want to push the wheels out further for mostly look)
Others: ???
Supension Gurus! Any recommendation on the above parts, including vendors/installers? Thanks!

The sway's will definitely make a massive improvement!! I think their single handedly one of the best bang for the buck improvement you can do!!
If your looking to step up from the pinks/d-specs some day, you could go with a offering from KW or AST to retain good ride quality, while improving your performance further.
Going with the yellows is a good call for now though. That might be enough to fulfill your needs for now.
Had to edit!! Thought that last bit might get me in trouble LOL...

I finally ordered whiteline 24 mm adjustable sways and kartboy endlinks from turninconcepts, I am hoping they come in soon! Do you really need the upgraded rear swaybar mount from whiteline also?
Anybody have opinions on ichiba 10 mm spacer? I want to push my stock wheel 17x7.5 53mm stock offset? to about 43mm, which I've read is still a decent offset to have for aftermarket wheels to have the flushed look and not wear too much on the suspension and bearings.

It's not completely necessary but, to take more advantage of your added roll tension their a good idea.

If I stay away from spacers, is there any possible way to use this set up and run 18's with rolled fenders? Can I get away with just camber plates/bolts or do I have to go full coilovers? Thanks BAIC for helping me to get this right

18s would be fine with rolled fenders, just make sure u dun go overboard with the width like 8.5-9 lol. You can get away with camber plates/bolts. You dun want coilovers unles your gonna track, auto-x it. They'll be hella stiff on 18s lol.
Personally id stick with 17s =)
Also try swift springs, i believe a bit higher than pinks but ive had both and i like swift better.

I dont mind stiff, but I don't want to spend extra money on something I really don't need or wont really use. I saw some 18x9.5's for sale and liked how they looked. Thanks for the input.
