Like I said the fronts should fit fine. The rears I don't know exactly what the results will be. I'm not sure what the alignment specs are for the Forseter, but for example the WRX sdan calls for -1.3 degrees in the rear (this is not adjustable w/o camber plates or eccentric bolts), when people tried GC struts (because it has taken the aftermarket a lot of time to come out w/ struts designed for the WRX) they experienced a rather large increase in negative camber- some as much as two full degrees. Negative camber is camber that make your tires (looking from the front or rear) look like this / \. Some negative camber is good, too much can cause uneven tire wear, handling problems etc.

Again using GG struts for your Forester I don't know what the outcome will be, it may be fine, but I suspect there will be some issues as they are not "interchangable". If your getting them for a good price and its only temporary, it may be worth a go. If you have big camber changes in the rear (always get a four wheel alignment after changing struts/springs) you can try eccentric bolts to bring the camber into line.

oh, I get it know....
well theoretically GG wagon and Forester are both a$$ heavy and weight is about same, so it might be fine

oh, another question that aroused - are sedan and wagon GG rear struts same in means of fitment? I want to compare WRX rear struts and tops with my Forester ones and my friends have them from sedan...so in means of comparing would it be same?

sorry for being such PITA, I quess you are already sorry you answered me lol

The sedan and wagon WRX (gd/gg) use the same strut tops, they are different than yours in the rear, same as yours in the front. The struts between the WRX wagon and sedan are different- even though they share the same tops.

The tops from either the WRX wagon or sedan won't fit your Forester. The struts from a WRX wagon may fit (possibly), but you would have to reuse your tops on the struts or buy new GC tops.
