Turbo and Warranty
Does anyone know if upgrading my turbo is going to void my warranty?? Do I need to have the Subaru guys install it or can I have it installed elsewhere??

This is a complete uninformed guess, but I really think it would. I imagine the addition of ANY more boost whatsoever would cause most dealers to void the powertrain warranty. People have been telling me that piggyback computers and even turbo timers have been voiding warranties.
You should check with your local dealer. There have been other threads started where this was a discussion. While modifying the turbo should void you warranty, you may still get things like window motors, or other NON engine related claims covered.
It depends on whether the dealer doing the work wants to put in for the warranty claim (and get the money from Subabru) or if they give you a nice FU because the car is modified and therefore don't have to do anything.
