Car Info: Turbo ITR... picking up my STI this week
Sti Shopping

Whats up guys, this is my first post on this fourm, but i frequent Honda-tech.. i am about 99% sure i am going to purchasing an STI this week, went and did some shopping today, and found myself @ broadway subaru in oakland, and spoke to the fleet manager by the name if Kay.

Anywase, he had 6 sti's in stock and he was working a deal, @ invoice + 500
i saw the invoice and it was at 32496 + 500 puts me @ 33 k roughly, he said he would knock another 500 off, but i am yet to see it on paper.

so i would be looking at 32,500 w/ the additional 500 off, or 33 k + tax and lic.

what do you guys think ?

The car has some options to it, i think it has the compass mirrior, the security package, and some other options which i dont remember. but, just want to get some advice.

Did you check out Santa Cruz Subaru?

I suppose your looking for an '07? Why not get an '06? Probably get a better deal, same body style.

Car Info: 04 STi
I would pay more for an 07 rather than a bit cheaper on the 06. I believe the 07 has a different turbo and better gear ratios. One of the big complaints I hear from STi owners is the short gear ratios(2004-2006). OR...if you want a cheaper price, look for a 2004 or 2005 with decent miles and that was taken care of.

Bottom line...I would go 04-05 for ~ $25-$27K or just go for an 07...skip the 06 unless its one helluva deal. My 2 cents.

Good Luck!
