Steering click
Hey everyone,
Just checking to see if anyone has ever heard of this or experienced it before. When I turn the wheel to the left I hear an strange clicking noise at odd invervals (meaning its non-rhythmic and there is no pattern) from the right front end. It doesn't seem to correspond to a particular rotation of the wheel but rather it seems to sound more like a piece of the suspension adjusting itself when the wheel turns and the mystery component is under stress. However, I only hear it when I am turning the wheel. I have changed the brake pads recently but didn't notice any obvious mechanical deficiencies when I was down there (of course, my friends say I wouldn't notice a mechanical deficiency even if it got up on a table, painted itself purple and sang 'mechanical deficiencies are here again'). Thanks a ton for any suggestions or hints.

One other thing I noticed was that when I am driving around a corner and I turn left there may be two clicks and when I turn right there will also be two clicks as whatever is involved here seems to recenter itself.
