Angry Stains in paint!! NOT HAPPY!

I have a white Sti.

I come home yesterday from a paintball game and start washing the car in a high pressure wash (rinse only). I look on my front driver side quarter panel and there are splatter marks from some sludge that was on my tire and apparently splattered as I drove out. The splatter marks are then found on my drivers side front and rear doors. There were some paintball splatter marks gotten in the park, but I used a friends shower spray and washed it off.

I used the High pressure rinse and took off the sludge but it left this brownish stain that I couldn't fully take out with wax or bug remover.

Are there any suggestions as to what to use? Or any direction to go on this? I am NOT A HAPPY CAMPER right now...

Tim

I have removed different types of stains on my BLACK Forester. You can try using WD-40 , thats what i usually use when i get hard to getout stains in the paint. Try using it in a shade, and the car is cool. Hope this can help.

I'm thinking it's Grease. There was probably some on the road.

I lost the front outer CV Joint and some of the grease found it's way onto my fender and front door. Even with washing, and rubbing it's a mo' to get off. Try some degreaser, I'm thinking that'll do the trick.

Suggestion

Try 3M rubbing compound. It's "supposed" to be clearcoat safe.

stains suck!

i own a mobile paint service in baltimore and ive run into this sort of problem alot. if youve tried all those other suggestions(not sure about wd-40 though) and the stains are still there, you can also try some laquer thinner. just put a little on a rag and rub the stains. if this doesnt work find a shop that does wet sanding and buffing. hopefully the stains havent gone through the clear coat yet. if they have the stained panels need to be resprayed. anything that has any sort of acid in it that is left on a car to long will stain it, all the way through the clear.
never leave bird crap, tar, sap, or egg(if you ever get egged that is) on your car for more than a few minutes, those are the worst for your paint. if you find that you need to repaint, look for a mobile paint service in your area, they will be much cheaper if thats what your looking for. otherwise hit the body shop.
i made the mistake of leaving bird sh*t on the roof of my rex and it ate through my paint, i was pissed at myself because i knew better.
anyway man good luck!

oh yeah, almost forgot to tell you to re-wax the spots that u use thinner on. thinner will strip the wax off your car.
