special internet price!

i e-mailed a local dealer about an 04 sti and he said they were all out. he said that he did have an 05 with an msrp of $34,260 but would give me a special internet price of $33,988! holy crap, a whole $272 off the sticker price! i'm gathering up my **** to head down there right now! lol......

unfortunately people(the ones who are willing to spend 34-40,000) do. why would anybody want to waste their money like that(spending 35-40k on 05'sti),i do not know....and because of that dealers think they can get that from everybody and tend to keep their prices higher. maybe some day this will change!
i am anxious to see how long it will take until the first person buys their 05 sti for under 33,000 otd. i know some locations have a lower demand than others. this was true for the 04's , but will it be the same for the 05'sti's?

So Cal people can get 05 STi's for MSRP all day...not MSRP OTD, just MSRP+ taxes, etc...this is the reason i am still hunting for an 04, cuz i am hoping with the large number of 05 STi's coming in, i should be able to get an 04 for MSRP OTD....
