i dont wanna spend 300 to change my plugs does anyone have any tricks or techniques to changing these yourself...and another question wats a good service manual to have????

The best, and only, service manual to have is the factory one. For the late model Subarus it's your only option, the aftermarket isn't producing them yet so no Haynes or Chilton.

$34.95 for a 72-hour subscription, up to 20 files per hour.

 

It only cost me 50 bucks to change the plugs out 40 for labor and 10 for the plugs. Just take your car in to a trusted shop in your area except the dealership.

 

if your in socal i just did mine and i can do yours

you have to strip out half of your motor battery washer resivior on one side

intake on the other

you need the socket and the perfect size extension and after taht its easy, it just takes time and patience
